10 Female Celebrities Who Remind Us All That Curves Are Beautiful with PHOTOS

Body positivity is definitely having a moment, and that's such good news for women. Given the gap between the idealized body shape and a healthy body shape, we salute celebrities who buck industry pressure and embrace their curves. These ladies encourage young women to love their bodies, no matter their shape or size. Which celebrity do you think is the best at exuding body confidence?

Meghan Trainor
Her curvy-girl anthem "All About That Bass" helped win Meghan Trainor a plus-size modeling contract and a Grammy. On her upcoming second album, these lyrics recall a favorite topic: I got curves and I know how to use them
I got curves with no plans to lose them
Cause I love who I am, so are you the man?
I'm talking to the boy
The man who can handle my curves?

America Ferrera
The star of the new hit Superstore is a refreshingly down-to-earth voice in an industry where thin is always in. "Take your time and your talent and figure out what you have to contribute to this world," she told Cosmopolitan for Latinas in 2012, "and get over what the hell your butt looks like in those jeans!"

Adele
Last year Adele roared back to the top of the charts with her album "25," more than 20 pounds lighter and full of body confidence. Her secret? A new regime that included nixing sugar and hitting the gym, "to get in shape for myself, but not to be a size zero or anything like that," she told Rolling Stone.

Mindy Kaling
While bestselling author and comedienne Mindy Kaling has built a career out of self-deprecation, she's unwilling to beat herself up over gaining a few pounds. “It’s really tempting not to take chances. But I don’t want to be fearful," she told Vogue magazine. "I don’t want my tombstone to say, she hid her imperfections well on the red carpet.”

Ashley Graham
Don't know the name? You will. Ashley Graham is the first plus-size model to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated’s annual swimsuit issue, out this month. Graham is an active wear model at Forever 21 and the first model to break the full-figured glass ceiling at SI.

Sofia Vergara
Blessed with a killer body and perfect comic timing, Modern Family's Colombian bombshell is the highest paid TV actress. She believes in the power of positive thinking, telling Stylecaster magazine, "Sexy is really a state of mind. It’s like if you believe you’re sexy, you are."

Demi Lovato
After suffering from bulimia and addiction as a young girl, pop star Demi Lovato is now proud of her looks and promotes a healthy body image. She openly talks about her past and present imperfections in the hopes of helping other young women.

Beyonce
Nobody channels bootylicious like Queen Bey, who has long maintained her curvy physique with exercise and a vegan meal plan. "I am not naturally the thinnest woman," she said on Good Morning America. "I have curves. I have struggled with diets and finding something that works for me."

Amy Schumer
"Trainwreck" funny girl Amy Schumer is so comfortable in her own voluptuous body that she once thanked a magazine for not Photoshopping her cover photo.

Christina Aguilera
Now back in her judge's chair for the 10th season of "The Voice," mother of two and bombshell Christina Aguilera also finds time to campaign for domestic violence prevention.

 Serena Williams
After years of thinking athletes' bodies should be long and lean, tennis champion Serena Williams now loves her muscular physique. "I learned to be proud of my curves and to embrace my large boobs and my butt," she told Fitness magazine. "It's all about loving who you are and realizing that you're beautiful."
